Welcome to our story. Carrera Café was born from a passion for motorsport and specialty coffee, located in the heart of the most historic neighborhood in North America.
The origin
How it all started
Carrera Café opened its doors on Rue du Petit-Champlain with a simple idea: to create the place we would have loved to have in Québec. A café that treats espresso with the seriousness it deserves, serves quality local products, and creates an atmosphere both elegant and warm.
The name Carrera, "race" in Spanish, was obvious for its founder, passionate about Formula 1 since childhood. This passion is not decoration: it structures the entire philosophy of the establishment.
In motorsport as in coffee, victory is decided in the details you don’t see.

We choose partners who share our values: Charcuteries Bio de Charlevoix, Borderon et Fils, cheesemakers from Québec.

Elegance should never be cold. At Carrera Café, everyone is welcome: tourist or regular, first coffee or tenth.

The people behind the cup
Our baristas are trained to understand coffee as a whole: from the plantation to the cup. Our servers know every product on the menu by its name, origin, and story. Our kitchen knows that the perfect board starts with the best ingredients.
