Coffee is not just a morning drink. In the hands of our mixologists, it becomes the fuel for nights that keep going. Here are 5 recipes we prepare — and teach — at Carrera Café.

★ Signature

The Paddock Espresso Martini

Our classic revisited. Intense, silky, with a tight foam that holds like a pole position lap.

Ingredients

45 ml vodka · 30 ml Senna Signature espresso (cold) · 20 ml Kahlúa · 5 ml cane sugar syrup · ice

Preparation

Shake with ice. Shake mercilessly for 15 seconds. Double strain into a cold martini glass. The foam makes the difference.

The Petit-Champlain Espresso Tonic

Crunchy, sparkling, almost mineral. The hot-cold contrast that always surprises with the first glass.

Ingredients

150 ml premium tonic · 30 ml Women's Harvest espresso (well extracted) · ice · orange zest

Preparation

Tall glass, ice first, cold tonic. Pour the espresso slowly on top to create two layers. Orange zest expressed over the glass.

The Espresso Negroni

For bold palates. The bitterness of Campari meets the bitterness of coffee. A dangerous and perfect balance.

Ingredients

30 ml gin · 30 ml Campari · 30 ml rosso vermouth · 20 ml cold espresso · ice · orange

Preparation

Stir (do not shake) with ice. Strain into an Old Fashioned glass over a single ice cube. Orange slice.

The Cold Brew Spritz

The summer drink on the terrace. Light, refreshing, ideal for long late-afternoon endurance races.

Ingredients

90 ml concentrated cold brew · 60 ml prosecco · 30 ml sparkling water · 15 ml lavender syrup · ice

Preparation

Wine glass, ice, cold brew and syrup. Top with prosecco and sparkling water. Lavender flower on the rim.

✽ Alcohol-free

The Paddock Mocktail — Zero alcohol

Because the best drivers don’t drink before the race. Intense, complex, with no compromise on pleasure.

Ingredients

60 ml cold espresso tonic · 90 ml ginger kombucha · 15 ml maple syrup · juice of half a lime · ice

Preparation

Mix the syrup and lemon. Add ice, espresso tonic, kombucha. Stir gently. Lime slice.
