Terrace cocktails in Quebec: the Carrera Café summer menu
A spritz shining in the sun, a negroni on clear ice, a signature cocktail with local Quebec products. On our Petit-Champlain terrace with a view of the rooftops of Old Quebec, summer takes on a whole new dimension. Our cocktail menu is ready.
Our philosophy
Artisanal cocktails, local products, zero compromise
A Carrera cocktail is not just a drink. It is a statement of intent. Each glass tells a story, that of our terroir and our know-how.
Many cafes and bars serve cocktails. Few craft them. At Carrera, each cocktail is designed as a food and drink pairing: it must fit to our menu, speaking to the same taste buds, creating a gustatory continuity from the appetizer to the last glass.
Local first. Our spirits, our syrups, our garnishes: tout ce qui peut venir du Québec vient du Québec. Les distilleries artisanales québécoises have reached a level of excellence that rivals the best European houses. We are proud of it, and we show it.
★ Our signature
The influence of car racing is found in our cocktails: precise recipes, ingredients measured to the milliliter, gestures repeated to perfection. Each glass is the result of a well-executed pit stop.

Pairings
Cocktails and menu: the best combinations
Each cocktail was designed to pair with our menu. Here are our recommendations.
The Grand Prix with the Charlevoix board: the gin with herbal notes perfectly harmonizes with the smoked charcuterie from Charlevoix. The honey in the cocktail complements the sweetness of the aged cheeses. A remarkably precise pairing.
The Pit Stop with the focaccia: the woody roundness of maple whisky pairs well with olive oil and rosemary. Both share the same aromatic generosity, the same gustatory comfort. The perfect pairing for the evening.
The Ligne Droite as an aperitif: its lightness makes it the ideal cocktail to start the taste buds without overwhelming them. Order it before the platter; it sets the stage.
❖ Bartender’s tip
For a successful aperitif, start with the lighter cocktails (Ligne Droite, Grand Prix) and move on to the more intense ones (Pit Stop, Negroni). The order of the glasses matters as much as their contents.
