Arrive late afternoon. Drop off your bags, then head straight down to Petit-Champlain. Carrera Café is open. An espresso or a Negroni depending on your mood: the weekend starts here. The terrace facing the river has something impossible to replicate elsewhere.

SATURDAY: THE CITY IN ALL ITS DETAILS

Morning in Old Quebec within the walls: the ramparts, Saint-Jean Street, the Museum of Civilization. Lunch on Sainte-Anne Street. Afternoon at the National Museum of Fine Arts. Evening: Petit-Champlain lit by lanterns, with a final coffee or a glass of white wine.

SUNDAY: TIME FOR REFLECTION

Last quiet morning. Morning coffee at Carrera Café, croissant, terrace. Then the funicular to go back up to the Upper Town and the car. Two days are enough for Quebec to settle somewhere inside you.
