Carrera Café in Petit-Champlain is a café-bistro. You can enter without a reservation for coffee. You book for dinner, an event, or training. Here’s how it works, depending on what you have in mind.
Book a tableFor an espresso, latte, cappuccino, or a quick snack, no reservation is needed. Come in, find a seat at the counter or in the dining area, and order. This is the quintessential café format: spontaneous, simple, without constraints. Ideal for a break between activities in Old Quebec.
At noon and early afternoon, walk-ins are welcome. On weekends and evenings, the room fills up quickly. Arrive early if you want to secure a good table.
Friday and Saturday evenings: booking strongly recommended.
Sunday: varies depending on the season.
Weekdays, evenings from 5:30 PM: recommended if you are two or more.
For special occasions (birthday, date, family visit): always book, even on weekdays.
If you are planning your visit from outside, book as soon as you know your dates. Carrera Café is a well-known spot in the neighborhood and tables fill up, especially during the high tourist season (July, August, December). Booking in advance saves you the disappointment of arriving and not finding a seat.

Our training sessions are by reservation only. Barista (espresso, latte art, filter coffee) or mixology (signature cocktails, drink pairings). Available for individuals, couples, or small groups. Contact us for availability and rates. These trainings also make excellent gifts.
