Quebec summer lasts from June to September. Short, intense, bright.
Quebec in summer is unrecognizable compared to winter. Temperatures reach 28-30°C in July-August, the sun sets after 8pm, terraces open everywhere in Old Quebec.
Petit-Champlain in summer is especially magical. Its cobblestone alleys keep the stone's coolness, its facades are covered with flowers, its shops spill onto the sidewalks.
The perfect season
From June to September, Quebec welcomes over 4 million visitors. The city is at its peak: festivals, markets, concerts, terraces open until evening. Our terrace is part of this scene.

Our terrace opens in June and closes at the end of September. One of the most popular outdoor spaces in the neighborhood.
The Carrera terrace
Wooden tables, cream parasols, view of Petit-Champlain street. The ideal terrace for a morning coffee, an evening aperitif, or an iced latte break after visiting the Frontenac castle.
The late afternoon light on Petit-Champlain is one of the most beautiful lights in Quebec. Between 5pm and 7pm in summer, the sun lights the stone facades at a golden angle. With a cocktail in hand, it’s an image that stays.

8am-10am: the local terrace
Petit-Champlain before the tourists. Silence, slanting light, espresso or cappuccino with the focaccia of the day.
5pm-7pm: the golden hour
The golden light on the facades, the terrace filling up, the Grand Prix in hand. Our favorite summer moment. Book in July-August.
