Natural wines in Québec: Carrera Café’s private import selection at Petit-Champlain

Natural wine is a philosophy before it is a trend. No added sulfur, minimal winemaking, grapes grown biodynamically or with sustainable agriculture. At Carrera Café, we believe in it.

What is a natural wine?

The philosophy behind the glass

A natural wine is a wine produced with minimal intervention: grapes grown without pesticides, winemaking without chemical additives, bottling with little or no added sulfur. The result is a living wine, which can be slightly cloudy, can evolve in the bottle, and is unique to each vintage.

A natural wine is not perfect in the industrial sense. But it is authentic. And authenticity is exactly what we look for at Carrera Café.

Our selection

Private import, regularly renewed

The wine list at Carrera Café is built in collaboration with private importers who share our philosophy: quality, identified origin, fair prices. The wines change regularly according to arrivals, making each visit slightly different.
