The Porsche 911 and espresso

The 911 and espresso: two objects that have crossed decades without betraying their essence. Two objects that are perfected, without ever fundamentally changing.

A shape that stands the test of time

In 1963, Porsche presented the 901 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Renamed 911 due to a trademark dispute, it began an extraordinary career. More than 60 years. And a silhouette recognized at first glance, even today.

The parallel with espresso

Espresso follows the same rules. The basic recipe — beans, water, pressure, temperature — hasn’t changed for decades. But each generation of roasters and baristas refines the result. The goal is not to revolutionize. It’s to elevate.

Carrera Café: where the two meet

At 72 Champlain Boulevard, in Old Quebec, Carrera Café pays tribute to this philosophy. The name comes from the Porsche 911 Carrera — based on the belief that what is well designed deserves to be celebrated. Every espresso served here is proof of that.
