Carrera Café in Petit-Champlain is one of those places where you enter shaking the snow off your boots, cheeks red and fingers numb, to find the warmth of a steaming espresso and the cozy atmosphere of our counter.
In winter, we adapt our menu to offer more comforting drinks, cozier pairings, creations that meet the deep cravings of the cold season.

Seasonal creations that combine specialty coffee with winter flavors from Quebec. Warm, comforting, unique.
Maple Syrup Espresso
Our iconic winter creation: a double Senna Signature espresso, a cloud of velvety milk, and a touch of Quebec maple syrup. The natural sweetness of maple enhances the caramel notes of Brazilian coffee. A Quebec-Italian blend that leaves no one indifferent.
Winter Spice Latte
A smooth and comforting latte flavored with a blend of winter spices: cinnamon, cardamom, and a hint of nutmeg. The coffee in the background, the spices upfront. A tribute to the cold season.
Honey Cappuccino
A classic cappuccino enhanced with a spoonful of local wildflower honey. Thick foam, honey slowly melting, espresso underneath. Simple and perfect.

Coffee naturally pairs with winter flavors: hot chocolate, spices, nuts, candied citrus. Our kitchen offers accompaniments that respond to these natural affinities.
Coffee x Chocolate
The classic winter pairing. Our Senna Signature espresso finds perfect resonance with dark chocolate: the cocoa notes of the Brazilian Cerrado naturally extend in the mouth. We offer a piece of Quebecois dark chocolate with every espresso ordered in winter.
Boulangerie Borderon et Fils
Our winter gingerbread comes from Boulangerie Borderon et Fils, our Quebecois bakery partner. Their artisanal gingerbread, flavored with honey and Christmas spices, pairs divinely with a cortado or a flat white. Available from November.

Cerrado Mineiro · Body and Warmth
In winter, we highlight the chocolate notes and roundness of our Brazilian Cerrado Mineiro lots. This naturally sweet and generous bean shines in hot drinks: its full body envelops the palate and its caramel and hazelnut notes linger long in the warmth of a steaming cup.

In the heart of Petit-Champlain, just steps from the Funicular. Our terrace is closed in winter, but our indoor room is warm and welcoming. The perfect place for a coffee break after a walk in Old Quebec under the snow.
