Italy is the land of espresso coffee and Formula 1. It is no coincidence. Both cultures share the same values: precision, elegance, passion, and the pursuit of perfection in every detail.

Espresso was born in Milan in 1884. Scuderia Ferrari was founded in 1929 in Modena. Two Italian cities, a few hundred kilometers apart, that changed the world in their own way. The cup and the red car: two absolute icons.

And both share this way of awakening all the senses. The steam of coffee like the roar of the engine. The extraction in 25 seconds like a qualifying lap.

Why Carrera Café?

The story behind the name

"Carrera" means "race" in Spanish and evokes the Porsche 911 Carrera, one of the most iconic sports cars. But for us, Carrera represents above all a way of being: racing toward excellence, never sacrificing elegance.

Opening a café in Petit-Champlain was a race in itself. A challenge to find the best beans, the best local artisans, the perfect room in Quebec's most photographed neighborhood. Today, we are proud to be in pole position in this gourmet race.

The Canadian Grand Prix takes place every June in Montreal. It's our weekend of the year. At Carrera, we organize viewing parties with a special menu, Ferrari cocktails, and paddock atmosphere.
