Ferdinand "Butzi" Porsche, grandson of the founder, created a design that would span decades without ever aging: rounded hood, gently sloping profile, flat engine at the rear. The car replacing the 356 is bigger, more powerful, more refined. And already, it is recognizable among thousands.

The 1973 RS 2.7 is one of the most sought-after 911s today: lightweight, sharp, with its characteristic ducktail spoiler and its 2.7-liter engine that delivers 210 horsepower. The 1975 930 Turbo inaugurated the era of forced induction at Porsche and became the most dangerous car of its time, nicknamed "the widow" by those who didn’t have the strength to handle it.

The 993, produced from 1993 to 1998, is considered by many to be the most beautiful and the last of the "pure" 911s, before the arrival of water cooling. Then the 996, the 997, the 991: each generation pushes the limits without ever betraying the essence of what a 911 is.
